Description:

 An ETL developer who is excited to tackle the challenges that come with large volumes of data and complex business rules. You'll help us build a hybrid platform that combines traditional warehouse technologies, MPP databases and Hadoop. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Implement complex business rules and Analyze and build scalable, efficient processes using industry standard ETL tools like INFORMATICA Power Center by developing the ETL code with the extraction of data from relational SQL Server tables and flat files. 
  • Work with data architect to figure out the business logic that needs to be implemented in the warehouse day to day load. 
  • Prepare Business Required Documents (BRD) to outline data flow from source to target and Document Data Warehouse table details, ETL code details and status documents for each subject area. 
  • Analyze the existing SQL code and queries to comprehend the past data with the team; Develop stored procedures using SQL server database to support ETL jobs with optimized performance. 
  • Perform design reviews and recommend suggestions to the ETL design; Perform code reviews and optimize the SQL queries and ETL code through performance tuning to improve data extraction, process and load time. 
  • Coordinate with testing team to make testing team understand Business and transformation rules being used throughout ETL process. 
  • Support the EIM team for successful delivery of client’s business requirements through all the phases of the implementation. 
  • Develop Control-M jobs and Schedule them.

Details of Position:

  • Analyze, Design, develop, test and implement detailed solutions using various tools and Cloud technologies including Workday Studio, Prism, EIB, Core Connector, Cloud Connector (CCB), Solution Manager, etc. under multiple operating systems
  • Perform requirements gathering and analysis, prepare business requirements documents for Integration designs. Create, deploy and maintain workday custom reports including simple, advanced, matrix, and composite; Design and develop data conversions, Interfaces, reports and customizations \
  • Prepare technical deign documents based on functional specifications, Perform Code deployments, perform performance tuning and defect fixing. Provide troubleshooting and implementation and integration support
  •  Create conceptual workflows, visual mock-ups, and manage detailed user interface specifications.
  •  Enhance the performance of the application for better user experience by using advanced concepts such as Worklets, Dashboards and Score cards.
  • Constant interaction with the QA teams to identify possible bugs and defects beforehand and fixing them before each release to maintain a stable application.
  • Perform system analysis and programming activities which may require extensive research and analysis.
  • Formulate a detailed plan outlining step to develop programs, using structured analysis and design, and logical steps
  •  Provide ongoing support, maintenance and enhancement of the Client workday management system.
